THE STORY BEHIND
FORGE48 started long before there was ever a name for it.
Growing up in South Dakota, the outdoors was simply part of life for our founder, Ezra. Hunting, fishing, sports, and time spent outside shaped the way he saw the world. Eventually, a camera found its way into that life, and what started as filming the things he already loved slowly turned into a way to tell the stories of the people, places, and experiences around him.
As that passion grew into a career, so did the idea for FORGE48 Creative.
The name represents two pieces of that journey.
FORGE represents the belief that anything worth creating takes work. It's shaped through experience, authenticity, and a willingness to put in the time to get it right.
48 is personal. It's a symbol tied to Ezra's own story and a reminder of where all of this started.
Together, they became FORGE48
Today, that same mentality carries into everything we create. We're drawn to real people, wild places, and brands that genuinely live the lifestyle they represent. The locations and stories continue to change, but the approach doesn't.
